    Yes-Washed concrete sand works great. I have it in my run and I love it...Easy to scoop the poop and dries very quickly after a rain. Also doesn't get too hot when it's 95 degrees outside... Girls takes dust baths in it, too..

    My crazy girl will lay eggs at night on the roost bar when she becomes egg bound. Earlier this week she passed two eggs in one night. One was a soft shelled egg and the other was completely normal. Keep up hoping and let us know how it turns out please!
