    Hi. I looked at the symptoms of coccidiosis and there is no blood in the droppings so we ruled that out. I can understand not eating the eggs while on antibiotics but do you know why you'd have to wait another 2 weeks? Thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts.

    Thanks Kelly. There were also some more advanced than the yolk stage, one with shell starting to form and one ready to lay.

    What gives, I thought it takes 24-26 hours for a single egg to develop and then she starts over. Any experience with this? Thanks.

    Thank you both for your kind replies. We had two more dead today. Anyone else have any ideas? We're in a panic here. No chicken vet around anywhere close.

    Hi Everyone, I'm a novice here in Colorado. I have a hen who has runny white and green exudae coming from her behind. Two others have died in the last few days with the same symptoms. She is listless, off of her feed and water.
