I'm getting chickens and guinea in a couple days. Does anyone have experience with having them together as babies? Should I separate them since guinea are supposed to have different food? Any experiences shared would be appreciated. Thank you!
I'm glad to see this. I have chicks coming from Valley in a few days. I worry about my post office though as they seem quite inept. My actual mail carrier is great, it's just everyone else seems to not have a clue. Just hoping all my chicks are very hardy. 🙏🙏
Just joined. I've been getting a lot of good advice and hope I can give some in turn. I have 6 young little barnyard mixed chickens and 7 Pekin ducks. I also have 5 guinea and 10 purebred chicks coming in a few days. Not sure I'm ready for all the babies but here I go jumping in.
You should have 4 females for every one male. Sure you could bring back the Drakes, but if you do you need to add several more females. They can literally mate the females to death.
