    Pinless peepers damage

Thanks for replying. It’s very possible I did. I tried to do my research ahead of time but it was my first time doing it. Do you have a picture of yours wearing the peepers you can share?

    Pinless peepers damage

Unfortunately, I could not pinpoint specific bullies even though I spent a lot of time and had gotten advice on how I would pinpoint them. That is why I decided to do it on the whole flock to be safe. I followed the instructions and had done quite a bit of research on the peepers and did feel...

    Pinless peepers damage

I have 16 and they have a decent size shed my husband built although I don’t know the specifics and they have two runs that are attached to each other. The one is a car port and is covered and then that one has an opening (which we close each night) that opens to a second run that is about 1.5...

    Prolapsed vent

I definitely will be checking her and thank you I will pick those up and give them to her. I am not sure how to tell if she is constipated. Although the poop she passed in front of me was on the firmer side she passed it in two pushes.

    Pinless Peepers?

I agree that’s why I went for them for my girls because we had one injury and lots of missing feathers on some of ours. But I’m heart broken by the damage it caused to most. Some aren’t so bad but I’ve attached a picture of the one hen with the worst damage.

    Feather Eating Troubles

Thank you! It’s very possible. I ordered mine off Amazon and although it seems others have had success without damage I was shocked at the damage. I added a photo here of my one girl that was the worst for you to see.

    Pinless Peepers?

It is very possible! I used the same ones as the ones shared in the photo as well as the larger size to those for some of my birds. I was shocked by the damage they caused. I’m so glad some have had better experiences tho.

    Prolapsed vent

When I was looking at one of my hens that has been missing quite a bit of feathers (although they are starting to grow back, thank goodness) I noticed she all of a sudden had a prolapsed vent. I got very worried and started feeling around to see if she was egg bound. She did not feel egg bound...

    Pinless peepers damage

Only helpful comments please. I am currently in my second year owning chickens and up until recently things were going smoothly. We introduced 5 new chickens to our flock in the fall and although our chickens seemed to be possibly picking feathers slightly before it seemed to become...

    Pinless Peepers?

I wouldn’t recommend Pinless peepers at all. I used them for three weeks for my chickens and just took them off today. Almost every single hen has damage of some kind whether it’s bruising, swelling or more. I thought they were a good solution and it definitely calmed my flock to help feathers...

    Feather Eating Troubles

I just finished two weeks of using these peepers on my 16 hens and they were put on correctly and almost every hen has some form of damage from bruising to swelling, etc. I do not recommend them and will not be using them again. Heart broken over it.

    Pinless Peepers Injuries

I put them in all 16 of my hens used small and large depending on the size of bird and after 2 weeks also noticed some damage. I just took them off and almost all hens are showing some kind of damage from the peepers. I will be keeping a close eye on them for healing and infection. But I agree I...
