    Thank you! I hope so as well. Yes until she is able to move around a little better, one of our other hens is mean. I don't want her to get picked on while she's hurt. That would only make it worse.

    Yes she has missing feathers, they were matted from her sitting so long so she started picking at them. Her skin was originally red when we brought her in but now it seems to have gone down to a normal color.

    update: she tried to stand today and used her wings for balance. She is very alert and still eating and drinking. She is not laying but I think that is because of the stress.
