I have a hen named Hodor and a top named Paula and a hen named John snow. The only one that seems to care is hodor. She won’t answer to anything else. Also my americauna hens sparred like roosters until they started laying.
What kind of chickens do you have? Are they egg chickens or meat chickens ? Did you raise them FOR meat? Did you expect your dad to kill half your flock?
The neck feathers and saddle feathers should be pointed if a roo. Rounded for a hen right? At least the saddle feathers. I have a couple americuana hens with pointed neck feathers, but their saddle feathers are rounded and they definitely lay eggs.
