I like this method a lot. I was planning on choosing based off of who I like the best, but there's a lot of other factors here I haven't considered.
We have a fair amount of land and the birds will mostly be free range, so I would like a rooster for some protection. Of course, if that doesn't go well, we'll reconsider.
I have had these precious little fluff balls for a week now and already feel really attached. We ordered 15 unsexed, so chances are well have a fair amount of roos. We were planning to cull the extras to eat, but I don't know now.....

I have identified all of my chicks, but I have 3 of these and I have no idea what breed they could be.
Any ideas?
I don't really have any up close specific ones except for these which have really interesting markings. Thank you for that breed list though! That will narrow it down significantly.

3 black with white on top of head darkish legs,
3 light yellow pink feet,
6 medium tan w dark striped on back,
