Today Daphne's eggs started to hatch!!!!
2 out of 12 so far!!! She started with 13 I found an egg randomly in yard today which looked like it externally piped. So I'm not sure if she got rid of it or it was stolen while she was off nest? When I opened he was perfectly postioned and looked ready...
Well I wish you the best of luck. Muscovy eggs have the best of me. I have a decent set up. Have hatched chickens and ducks with 95% success this year and 0% success with scovy's. Two trys 0 for 7 so far. Just lost one today who quit before absorbing it's yolk.
Pic of our lady Georgia sitting on her first clutch. She's got about half dozen so far under her. I got her sister out in shed on day 32ish sitting on 13.
Awesome to hear, can't wait to follow along I have 21 chicks and 15 scovy eggs In bator now. And 1 scovy in lock down now. And I just sold the other 9 I just hatched.
Here's a good read.

I tried to pen mine up and they just refuse at night. I'm pretty lucky I have two awesome blue tick hounds and sense they joined our farm I haven't had any predator problems. One of our ladies likes to roost with the chickens and one of the chickens loves to roost on the outside coop door. She...
Been super busy but we made it threw the winter!!! Here's a pic of 4 new ladies we add to our flock to give use 8 total. I sold off our other breeds and going straight scovys. One of our older ladies daph is currently sitting on her first clutch of eggs. So hopefully ducklings in a couple more...
Wow I got no clue, but here's a few pics of my ducks and a video just to help show there size differences. I got my Muscovy's on July 4th and they where 3 weeks old. The other 10 ducklings we picked up on August 28th.
