Hen-chick80

This is my second spring having chickens. We started out with 10 chicks and quickly got 5 adult hens and a rooster. (they came with our coop and run), so we had eggs right away. We rescued a neighbors chick and her name is Polly. She is huge! She is a Jumbo Cornish Cross and is a sweetie who is laying eggs. Each of our girls and Lilo, our rooster are great gals and give us delicious eggs every day.

We recently incubated two different sets of eggs, ending up with a total of 30 chicks. We aren't planning on keeping all of them, but will share the love of chickens to friends and family who want to join in.
