    My chicks are mostly all feathered but I guess I'll still wait another week or two just to be sure... Plus I adopted 4 more chicks that are about a week behind and I'm thinking I should put them all out at the same time... thinking about getting two ducklings off of craigslist for $2 and trying...

    For those of you here in south central pa, a couple of questions... Since I'm a complete newbie I'm a little unsure when to put my chicks out.... I'm seeing as early as three Weeks on the chick raising forum?... With our weather here (cooler), when do y'all put yours out? Just wondering...

    Can I put 2 week chicks with my other 3 week chicks?

    Ok all, I can't post pictures for some reason, so I'll have to get your advice without pictures... I bought 5 chicks from a farm about 1 1/2 Weeks ago... The chicks were advertised as being 1-3 Weeks old... So I'm not really sure how old they are... They just started getting feathers last week...

    ok, I have the chicks, now what?!!

    After months of preparation (mainly reading I'll admit), I finally have my babies! There are two buff orpingtons and three barred Plymouth rocks... So they are in a bird cage in the basement with a 125 heat lamp plugged in at the top of the cage... They are supposedly about 1-2 Weeks old...
