I found a short season corn I can actually grow outside here. Butter gold SE, only 63 days to mature cobs. Good tasty corn but not nearly as attractive as those heirloom types. I will have to try a heirloom that maxes out at 8-9’...

So I hit a friend up for some EE eggs. Day 7 and 8 of 12 are going strong. One was a dud and three died. But really not bad for winter eggs that waited a few days to go in the incubator.
