OOps. I was going to give you an update. Everyone is doing well today. I think we are doing okay now! I'm a little better today too!

They have several options to get water. I don't think she intentionally would get in. My guess is that the bigger chickens scattered them and she ended up in there. She is doing great now and has returned to her own little flock with Cooper (the rooster) and her 4 other sisters.

Here are the ducklings back in their brooder. Here are new momma with some of her little ones. Babies make it all worth the while!

Oh and I forgot to tell you that the hatch went off really well. I haven't seen them yet. I was busy cleaning the brooder. But my husband said she hatched 12 of 13. Very exciting. We will be heading to the barn to feed soon. So I should get to see them then. I will try to take some pics.

All three are still going strong and not showing any signs that there were ever any problems. Not sure what problem was. Maybe the niacin. I didn't have any powder niacin, but I had some time released capsules and I put that in their water. That could be the reason for the strong turnaround...

Good Morning All.....The night brought a great deal of improvement in three of them. But I am very sorry to say the one that had the water coming out of his nose when he drank did not make it. It is actually a miraculous recovery for the other three. They are standing while they eat and...

Since they can't actually move to their water bowl on their own. I am just taking each one out periodically to let them drink.

Haven't seen any since I brought them in. Wait I take that back....one of them pooped on me. It was clearish water and a little dab of poo. Seemed normal, I think.

Hopefully if it was something in their environment, the move should help.

No. We don't even have any at the barn right now.
