Hay/straw vs sand??? Sorry longer post than intended!
I don't disagree because I'm too new to know better, but I did learn their are generally 2 types of pine shavings sold at Tractor Supply and Rural King. Buy the FLAKE type. White bag at TSC. I ended up with the wrong kind as I was at Rural King and didn't want to drive 20 min more to TSC. It...- HenRae

No eggs yet! Anxiously awaiting them tho. Egg colors will be a surprise! :-) They are a barnyard mix of brown and colored egg layers. Yes, Easter Eggers. Wanting to get the run complete but funds are a bit low and finding the needed hardware cloth is turning out to be an issue, everyone is out.- HenRae

We had rented a trencher for other repairs so we trenched the ditches. 95% fixed the issue! We still have a gutter leaking but it's not too bad and eventually will get replaced. Thanks for info!!!- HenRae
