    I don't know if he really counts, but I've got Turken. I used to have Australorps and Orpingtons, but something killed most of my (20 chickens large) flock :( turken hung around though, along with two of his ladies.     One of my hens is scratching feathers off her breast with galvanized tin roof edge!!!!

    I cant answer your first two questions, but I would cut a pool noodle lengthwise so that it opens up and use foam insulation spray or something to hold it on the edge. Watch out with styrofoam, though, because chickens love the stuff
