I had great time with my chicks. I just moved slow, gave them a lot of treats and spent time with them. They are so friendly as long as you are gentle and calm with them.
I let my baby chicks out at 8 weeks which was way to early. At first I would take them out for a little while then put them back in. Also they still need heat when they first come out so it is beat to get them late spring. So that by the time they come out it will be warm.

Wow I am sorry that is happening. I would go to your feed store and see if the have pick-no-more lotion. And put that on your bloody hen. If that does not work you may have to give away your 2 hens or keep them in a different coop.
