    Buff Orpington balance issues

My six month old lady appears to have developed a hesitancy to put weight on her right foot. Sometimes she stumbles a bit to that side but never falls. She also seems to lean a lot on that side to feeding box or other stationary objects. Thoughts?

    Junglefowl?

Apparently, these ladies are Red Junglefowl. Is that true? About twelve inches tall and base of neck to rump (not tail) about 8 inches. Given to me by a neighbor. Thanks!!

Do you Clean out poop from the run?

I use the product shown below. My ladies [no roosters - a.k.a. "serial rapists" - need apply!] are in an Omlet enclosure with a dirt floor. I work the droppings into the dirt periodically and give them a bag of Koop Clean and let them spread it around themselves - once a year.

    Omlet Runs

Omlet is tremendous [and tremendously expensive, but worth it]. I have two eglus and the walk in run.

    Americanus stop laying

I have three one-year old Americanus hens that were laying beautifully until two weeks ago. Other seven ladies continuing to lay. Weird??

    Bald spot, broody and docile

A year old - regular layer. I needed to remove her from the nest two days in a row. No discharge. Bald spot behind her comb - see attached.

    Bald spot, broody and docile

One of my ladies seems to have a bald spot and a comb that has gotten a bit smaller. She has been broody for two days in a row and when I moved her she was very docile which is not normal for her. I can pick her up, move her wings and she shows no resistance. She stands fine when I pick her up...

    Identification?

Not sure what a “sex link” is. Is that a type of hen breed or an actual individual specific breed?

    Identification?

They did not have the room for chickens - raised them from chicks - about three months old. Two of these and one plymouth barred rock. Will take the photos you requested! Thanks very much!!
