The chick has hatched and it is drying up I’m not sure how much blood it has lost though... it’s not walking yet but can move around. Hopefully it will be ok
Hi so one of my chicks is looking ready and has it’s foot and head out and is talking but can’t quite get out. I gently peeled away the shell and it’s absorbed most of the veins but it moved and hasn’t quite absorbed them all and there is some bleeding what do I do?!
What do you mean by open vents? The temp only drops when I open it and within a minute or 2 it goes back up. I am really confused why. Thank you for your help though
This morning I made safety breathing holes and one of them started talking!!! The bleeding one is still moving and the bleeding has stopped but I am worried that he/she is in malposition and that is why he still haven’t absorbed the blood vessels. I don’t really understand why the other eggs are...
None of them have hatched. It’s only day 22 though. My baby who was bleeding is not bleeding anymore unless I mess with it (which I am not doing for that reason) lots of movement from him too! He still needs to absorb his/her veins though! Thank you for your help! 🙏🥰
Hello everyone! This is my first time incubating chicks and none of them have hatched yet (5) I’m getting concerned but they are all still alive. 2 days ago I noticed movement but it had stopped is there any thing any ones knows that I could do to help them. I’m getting concerned.
