I have never had great luck with shipped hatching eggs. I am located in Greenbrier County, WV. I'm looking for standard size pure bred hatching eggs in Greenbrier, Monroe or Pocahontas counties in WV or Alleghany or Bath county Virginia. THanks!
Thanks for your input. I have never had Delewares. It intrigued me that they were the "meat" bird before cornish x came along. I've never been picky about the chicken we eat either....lol Extra roos and hens beyond their prime usually go to freezer camp or canned for future use for my family.

Oh, I'm not keeping all of them. I will have to keep until I can tell the difference this year, then sell off extras. Next year I will sell straight run.
