Neighbor's unaltered cats driving me nuts!
I have to add before we moved to this town we lived right next to an army base where people dumped cats all the time ...in one year my husband trapped and brought to the shelter 27 unaltered cats just out of our yard ..and that barely put a dent in the population! unfortunatly the people that...- HiDelight

I love cats! and want one so badly! I will adopt when we are ready and only a neutered cat .. and a mouser is a mouser ..both cats and dogs either are or they are not! they love bringing "gifts" to their humans and it has NOTHING to do with genitalia ..in fact I think they are less distracted...- HiDelight

PS because I can not stop there I am going to call animal control on someone I know who has 10 unaltered cats right now inside and outside ..the house is digusting and a health hazard and the yard is full of breeding mean cats I can not see animals suffer it is just too sad and by letting...- HiDelight

Do NOT get me started about unaltered cats! omg what a mess it can be ..between the yowling and screaming outside ..the litters that end up on rescue sites and in the HS as simple as it is to neuter or spay a cat and most places have free services..NO ONE should have litters or let Toms or...- HiDelight

YUP add one more to the Geocache lovers! my problem is when I use the GPS I become transfixed by the darn thing .... then end up tripping over things and falling flat on my face! great hobby however -

there are tons of oyster mushrooms in an area right near my house completely out of reach I will try to get a picture I have harvested from around here in the spring for years and they are wonderful ..usually I can find them where I can reach them this time they are up there in a tangle I can... -

Mushroom ID help
yes it is a chicken of the woods (although I would never swear to a mushroom ID online it looks like one to me as well) and how good it is depends on the tree it grows on! some trees like fir make it taste horrid so cook a little piece and try it you only want to cut up and eat the tender... -

I had a family of similar neighbors and what I did was NEVER say a word to them ...but I glared and made eyecontact ...they threw dog poop in my yard I tossed it at their house so it stuck ..it just got awful .living there! ..and I was behaving like them! ....so ...finally I cut the half of...- HiDelight

I pretty much hunt mushrooms year around but I live in a temporate climate with lots of rain so it makes it easy! I think you can at least look for them any time good luck! even if you dont find any edibles they all make great pictures if you are in to that!
