well tonight my daughter R lost her polish chick "chub chub", who was about 1 week old. Checked on her one hour before & it was doing fine and then later dead. She always seemed to be pecking at the others, and she was very small. Hope to replace it with a silkie or polish feather headed...- highnthemnts

My daughter wants one silkie or a polish for the flock, because they look so silly . She loves the crazy goofy look on them. Are the golden polish ones ( from elizibeth county corner store ) good for colorado winters? - they seem to be the only pullets around. Or should i keep looking for a...- highnthemnts
