    submarine goslings!

I have an adult African that loves submarining. She dives, and then swims about 10 feet across, underwater. She loves it.

    Chinese or African?

If they don't have the dewlap, they are probably crossed somewhere down the line with a chinese for productivity.

    Bad Eye Infection?

I used it on my chickens. You should inquire at your local feed store and see what's best. I've never had any health problems with my geese, so I can't even guess at what would be safe for them. Edit - Just went and checked. Both the Oxy, and the normal Tetracycline are both labelled for...

    Bad Eye Infection?

I have Oxytetracycline that was designed for chickens. I got it at my local feed store. Just mix into the water. There were others on the shelf as well. I would certainly get her on something fast.

    Goose shed feedback?

I built a 3 foot X 4 foot replica barn with a 3X3 awning for ours. They only go in it to nest. Other than that they prefer to be outside snuggled down under a tree, or just on the snow.

    American Buffs and American Grays

The Grey was originally the predominant goose in the US and Canada until the 60's. They just aren't recognized by the APA.

    African Geese: Opinions wanted!

Africans make great sentries. They like to chitter chatter alot, but when something alarms them its LOUD. I have 3 Embdens, 2 Africans and a Grey and I really love the look of the Africans. You really need at least two. A solo goose is a lonely goose. They much prefer to be in a flock. My...
