I was leaning toward hen since most of the roosters had large combs super quickly. This one is making me second guess though. I believe it’s about 10 weeks but I hatch a lot so I can’t remember
Hey all!
I’m researching and super interested in 55 flowery hens. I’m having a terrible time finding any 1st off. While researching I’ve found several people say their rooster died out of nowhere. Others say they have a hard time hatching their eggs even after buying them from multiple...
My meat chickens are set to be processed on Saturday next week. The past day several have had watery poop and a few poops that look like intestinal shedding (like 1 blood chunk in a poop not bloody poop if that makes sense). They’re moving a bit slow this morning but we did have a lot of rain...
How much/often do they need to drink? I have 2 ml of water with hydro hen and 2 more like an hour later. Seemed a bit perkier. I have not done the coconut oil yet. Did offer some yogurt and it seems to be pecking that a bit
Checked on it this morning. Still kinda floppy, maybe a little hunched. Pooped twice overnight. Nothing weird looking about the poop. Crop feels a bit hard like there’s food in it. Still nothing else visibly wrong. Looks like it did drink and eat a little bit.
That’s kinda what I was “hoping” for. Not that I would ever wish one sick but it’s an easier treatment than many other things. Guess I’ll see what the hydro hen does for it overnight.
My 3 month old chick lives outside and is kinda floppy. It didn’t go to bed in the coop with its siblings. It was laying on the ground outside. The temps were much hotter the past 2 days than they have been. When I stood it up it’s just kinda floppy. Eyes are bright and open, no weird discharge...
This is another reason I was asking! The second ones came in foam but it was very soft foam. The first set came very similar to yours. Which I get looking slightly less professional but it held up a lot better in my experience
Hey all! We’re working on becoming certified to sell chicks and hatching eggs. I know lots of you have chickens so I was curious about shipping. I had my first 2 egg shipping experiences this year. One was amazing and one not so much. The second one a few of the eggs were cracked and a few were...
So I’m fairly new to rabbits but I read not to breed after a week or so because they have a bicornate uterus and can get pregnant a second time and miscarry them when having the other ones? No idea if that actually happens I only read it once.
However mine is also nesting 2 weeks early! I wonder...
