    Thank you! We had another broody hen that was laying in an empty nest so we put her in the nest with the eggs and she became very protective of the eggs when we tried to give her food and water. I think she's good. I just hope they hatch because they went a full day without a hen on them. :(

    I have a broody hen who was sitting on 13 eggs. 4 of them hatched, But 8 of them are still in the nesting Box. She is no longer sitting on the 8 eggs but she is caring for the 4 chicks. I know 5 of the eggs are fertile. Are they OK until they hatch or do I need to put them under another broody...
