    Don't know where you are but I live close to Dragonfly hatchery in Hillsborough NC and the area has, though not quite saturated, a fair number of ACs! Just saw an ad for cockerels for $20, straight run chicks from Dargonfly also

    They are not QUITE that high here! Don't know about exporting to Australia, maybe you could start with some hatching eggs! Those are only $6/egg plus $20/dozen shipping....a touch more if going overseas and all kinds of USDA /Australian DA stuff....Or you could get a 6 week old one in...
