    Ok but they are laying in the floor right now. I made the nesting boxes more elevated then the others i had in there. Should i lower it closer to the floor?

    I have a older hen i think is eating the eggs, so i built some new nesting boxes with the roll away paint trays. How do i get them to start using it?

    Hi! I from Hixson,TN just north of chattanooga. I just recently purchased some chickens and built a coop for them in the backyard. I got them for my three children. I have 7 RIR's and 2 cornish rocks.

    I have 7 RIR's 2-3 weeks old. I was told that hens get their tail feathers first true or not ?
