I do know someone who breeds them though tbh i don’t think he’ll love your idea of crossing them 😅. He’s all about keeping animals pure. Join the main pheasant group on Facebook. It’s the most reputable one. It’s this one. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1Bvkspswm3/?mibextid=wwXIfr
I have this chick that i just noticed has a twisted leg, i cant tell of its recent or not because its with a bunch of other chicks. Should i be concerned will he/she still be able to live its fill life. Doesn't seem to hurt him at all, just cant run around.
definitely game and game mix chickens, bantams and other leaner faster chickens. As someone stated barn mixes and other plump chickens are easily eaten.
I was thinking in my bedroom, but sometimes my room is hot during the day and cool at night. But I could set it up somewhere else if I have to. I'm not exactly sure how much of a change in temp.
Thank you so much. I guess I should start off with the 360. And definitely not the chepos. I did my research on those. Thank you very much. I guess since I'm a newbie I should stick to something like the 360 where it's more accurate. Does it have any trouble Being in a room with not so great...
Yeah I was looking around and saw the 360 incubator mentioned many times. But it only holds 21 eggs. Sure i may not need something big now but I'd like to do more someday. The little giant seemed to have decent reviews so I thought it would be better. But I did just place the order a few minutes...
I just ordered the little giant deluxe ( fan and Turner included ) I was seeing some good things about it. Is it also a good incubator? It would be my first incubator. I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake 😅
I'm thinking about making a styrophome incubator, and was wondering about lighting. I have this light from my 5 gal fishtank (it broke and have the cover lying around ) so I was wondering if I could use the light to heat the incubator. It was a really old fishtank and the light creats a lot of heat.
Are all quails skittish? My male recently lost his girls and has been staying inside mith me and has never gotten scared. I let him walk outside and when he would lay down I would stopmp around and try to scare him but it never worked.
