    Newly hatched chick with hernia?? HELP!

    From my experience it will probably correct itself. I would not intervene right away. Let the hatch finish, the chicks dry out, and then assess again later. That is fairly minor in size, so I think it will be fine.

    Thank you! He is a coop ornament for sure! I bought hatching eggs and hatched him and some others - I rehomed the rest. I focus on Crele and Lavendar Orpingtons, Partridge Cochin, and Light Brahmas!
