    That's what I thought. Such a bummer. I ended up with a ton of Roos this year. Both my Ameraucanas are boys. :(

    Sorry that he (?) looks a little dirty in his body shot. there was some poop on him and my daughter took a wipe and wiped him down, leaving a dingy look. The comb throughs me a little on this one. It has three rows at the top, but not all the way down. This one is also quite a bit smaller...

    Here is a close up of the Ameraucana's comb. This would be 3 rows indicating a roo, correct? About 4 weeks old.

    It would have been fine if he had been the only boy, but out of 10 chicks, 7 turned out roos! Now, we just have to decided which little roo gets to stay. Off today to get some (hopefully) pullets. :)
