    Yes we have 2 temperatures & humidity sensors and both have been fine all incubation.

    AHH! Went to move eggs to lockdown on day 18 today and realized as we were moving them that 1 had already pipped :eek: alot were internally pipped as well when we candled them as we moved to lockdown. Sure hope they don't shrink wrap. Couldn't believe it!

    No its now pitch black and raining/sleeting outside. Crop felt soft, not empty, and nothing was visible in mouth as far as we could see.

    2yo hen visibly gasping and labored breathing and making a very loud 'bgawk' sound frequently as she breathes. No bubbles, discharge, sneezing, liquid anything else respiratory related apparent. Appeared healthy yesterday.

    Chicken's face very swollen

    We mixed some tylan powder into her water. Nothing else unusual observed today. If anything it seemed like less watery discharge but more swelling of face and redness of eye whites 😥 her comb also looked less colorful and droopy/shrunken.

    How long has she been laying? New layers can have unusual eggs when starting laying but that's a risky business with no shell. Try mixing the oyster shell in with the food. Save your egg shells and crush them up as well into food.

    Ok thank you! I knew those were their ears but didn't realize you could do that! Her eyes were sealed shut this evening. Irritation and more ointment. They are very red/ bloodshot looking. Some liquid but not puss or bubbles. Super swollen. 😥

    Yes that's from putting ointment on eyes. 0 changes to flock aside from in house bred chicks hatching. She had liquid coming from one eye this morning but it wasnt bubbly and since I've put on ointment this AM it's hard to tell. How do you look in a chickens ear, that's a new one to me.
