Yes, have a BR with 5 two week old chicks. I was curious to know if I could sneak the new ones in at night, or if she wold definitely reject them in the morning.

I was wondering if it’s possible to add new chicks to two week old chicks. I have a Barred Rock with 5 two week old chicks. Can I add new chicks at night? If so what are the chances of success? Also if it is possible what age should the new chicks be. Thank You.
Thanks for all the tips. Last night I tapped on the eggs and nothing. Tonight I opened one and no good. Then I did the same with the rest and ditto. Maybe next time. Hopefully the two of us will do better the next time.
