Thanks all, I will be moving back to Missouri this saturday, Kentucky is a beautiful place and I wish it hadn't gone this way for us. I have family taking in my flock so they will be in great hands. I plan on returning to the forums when my life settles and I can get all the birds I truly want...

Flock of 13 Need to get rid of ASAP!

Thank you, I believe they already did and we just did not know. (I am not head of house) After a few rough calls I have temporary boarding so I will be okay at the moment, everything just happened so quickly.

Flock of 13 Need to get rid of ASAP!

I found a solution for now, it won't be super secure but it will be better than nothing. If all goes well with this I won't have to rid of them but we will see.

The eviction is happening at 10am so they need to be gone before then, I don't know what happens to them if...

Sounds like you got it down to me, especially with the hardware cloth you can never have too much of it. I believe having a lifted coop is a must as well. This will help with the small/med predator problem, although make sure your floor is secure and far off the ground as it is now another...

Wowza thats going to be one heck of a transition. It will be hot and sticky for sure. I just pulled a drowned mouse out of my water container and had to toss a snake into the woods away from the coop if that gives a tiny idea of the morning activities. The front of my coop is mucky from 2 weeks...

    ~17 hens & 9 roosters; Ross, Ohio

I would take them but I'm a little over 3 hours from you and my car wouldn't make it that far. I'm sure you won't have too much trouble finding them a good home! Good luck!
