    Sudden paralysis of chicken

    How is Butter doing? I just had a Bantam Cochin come down with the same symptoms. She's one of my daughter's best show chickens :-( She looks just like Butter did, but she is at least drinking water and eating a little. I'm trying the molasses flush.

    Chickenstock at Gower's in Ranson, WV.

    nunlef: I tried to bring some 1 week old chicks to the last WV Chickenstock. I called the WV Dept of Ag about bringing the chicks to sell and was told that I am not to bring a bird of any age that has not been tested. So I had to leave my chicks at home

    Wow! Another chickenstock already? That's great! I'm so glad that I don't have to wait until fall for the next chickenstock I will have a trio of Cream Brabanters. I hope that the weather is as perfect for this chickenstock as it was for the last one.
