    Oh my ever lovin' goodness!! That's horrible. I now understand why you said no to scalping. Unless it's just the beginning and will end up at this point Do you have any idea what is going on with these birds?

    I was thinking the same. Although the egg was larger than normal, it didn't seem nearly large enough for 3 ducklings in there. Twins actually hatching blows my mind. Nature is amazing, and some times confusing. Haha

    I've had double yolkers, but never three. The egg was huge. Got me wondering if anyone has ever successfully hatched twins or triplets? Seems it would be impossible but then, we do live in a strange world 😉

    I walked to the shed to get a few things before turning over the garden beds (under 2 minutes, no ducks around). When I got back I found the team was already on task. Double treats for the ladies tonight 👍 Gotta love a duck! 🤣
