    You have me learning something didn't know you can give them marek vaccine. I did want to vaccinate for the fowl pox. The Mosquitos down here is pretty harsh for the birds.     I did add the save a chick to the water this morning after the first of the three hatched. So far that the only one to drink on its own. Since this morning its is able to now walk around, Keeping my fingers crossed for the other two and the other seventeen to hatch. Thanks for the replies. Good...

    hey guys my first 8 hatched without a hitch chicks running like two year olds. My second not so much. which brings me to my question, Do all chicks hatch with a stringy type cord connected to the egg because the wyandotte I hatched I didn't notice it. So far three marans hatched an had this cord

    None from any of mine either, but not as nervous after going through first batch with nothing till the morning of day 21. On another note I received my first two eggs from my young Marans this morning

    Getting close. We'll all of my first eight hatched as of last night. These were BLW I received in the mail. My second baror has Copper Marans and Light Brahmas at day 20

    Hang in there I was at day 21 when I finally there was movement. Before that I was like you going crazy thinking nothing going to hatch. Them bam 5 yesterday and one this morning
