oh yes I'm positive Ferdinand is a Ferdinand and not a Gertrude! you can't really see his drake feather in those two pictures, but you can see it pretty clearly in this one. even when/after he molts and it comes out, he grows another right back. I can totally envision this and it cracks me up! that's a great idea for outside definitely, but as for indoors we will have to figure out something less messy haha he already makes a giant mess with his food/water and feathers from his constant state of molting! -
