I have a big garden. I know not to feed them raw or dry beans. I have a lot of purple hull peas ( very similar to black eye peas). After I shell the peas is ir ok to give the pods to the chickens?
My girls talked me into keeping one but I still have the one Barnevelder and turns out I have anther rooster too it's a Rhode Island red not planning on keeping him if your interested

So I have about 11 chicks that are feathered and for Tennessee we are having an unusual cold snap it going to be in the 30s the next few night and they are calling for a chance of snow next week should I wait to get them coop ready. Here is a pic of one
So Since I'm just wanting the eggs I may have to candle each egg to make sure I don't have fertilized eggs however I could hatch the fertilzed eggs that I come across. Am I right>
