    Silkies or Satins? Did I make a mistake…

    You definitely got all satins 😊. A well bred Satin is practically the same as a silkie, just with smooth feathers. Here's a picture of my favorite Satin hen.

    Oh how adorable! I'd love to see them mature. Love the silkie Cochin cross. I have 14 of them and half thankfully turned out to be pullets. Can't wait for them to start laying so I can get the second generation!

    New Satin Owner- breed experiences share!!

    I generally find my satins to literally be like a regular Silkie in every way but the feathering. Which makes sense as a well bred Satin has a lot of silkie blood in it.
