    Raising a duckling alone

    Hi, I have two Pekin ducks and I lost my little Mallard a couple of months ago. I am interested in getting another duck, but I only want to add one more. I was wondering if I could raise her alone until she’s old enough to join my other two ducks, or if I absolutely need to get another duckling.

    I haven’t noticed if she is holding her tail down. She’s not doing it anymore. I’ll check to see if I can feel an egg though. But no I haven’t noticed anything else.

    Why is she breathing like this? It just started this morning. I couldn’t post the video so here’s a picture. She’s panting pretty hard.
