I live on a small acreage outside Omaha, Nebraska, where I keep a varying number of hens, one cat, and one husband. A former university writing instructor, I currently work as a freelance writer. I'm also an Extension master gardener, and continually work with my chickens to peacefully co-exist with my garden. I love writing research-based poultry articles, as well as all things gardening.
