Thank you all for your help. My little chick passed in my hands and now I have another question. She was all clean on the butt but had a small swelling in it and my question is should I have squeezed that a bit? Not sure the logistics of checking for Patsy But entirely! I'm a new chick mom...
Yes it does...chicken pH is what I'm researching right now because I use the Kangen Machine but also have a Berkey and I've been giving the chics water from the Berkey. This is my first time with baby chicks so I'm looking everything up. My baby chick passed away 2 nights ago in my hands...
I'm getting the Non-GMO chick crumble and the brooder is between 85-90 but they move away from the heat lamp. Last week when I got them they liked 90-95, but not now. I've put the lamp up higher now too.
Thank you. I'm trying it now. He doesn't want to drink or eat but I keep putting his beak into a small spoon of it and he gets a little at time. Takes a min. or two or half a teaspoon maybe....I'm feeding them the chick crumb mash non-GMO
HELP! One of my chicks is in distress. I cleaned the butt off this one twice in the last week. I think it may be my rooster too. It's smaller and not thriving but right now it's so lethargic I don't know what to do. Brought it outside for 10-15 min to stand on the grass but it didn't really...

You can. sprinkle corn meal on fire ant hills and they either die or move on. I've even used Wheat flour whenI was out of cornmeal and it worked. No need to poison your yard, There is aways a better solution.
I would do everything I could to resolve the matter with your neighbor in person. Creating an enemy in your neighborhood should be avoided I would think. If its not life and death, I do not involve police. Things escalate far too quickly with police involved. Food security is on many...
Hello! I'm a newbie here and have only had chickens 18 months. 2 of my 3 are not laying. I don't see anything bothering them, injuries, discontent...The one that is laying is #1 in pecking order however...she is a bully but doesn't really do damage much.
