    I just built and painted my coop. How long should i wait....

    It was water based latex paint. I might give it a few more hours letting it air out with the doors open and then put them in for the night. Good idea about the card board box I will do that! Thanks!

    I painted the floor of my coop last night so it is definitely ALL dry though it does still smell a little bit. I am eager to get my chickens into it (and so are they) but I worry about the fumes a little. My bf says they will be fine. What do people here think? Thanks! P.S. My chickens are...
