    Thanks! He's so beautiful. A friend didn't know she had gotten 2 roos and was going to be fined if she didn't find homes for them yesterday so I took them. He hasn't been handled much so it's hard to get close to him like our other chickens.

    Born in March. We bought them on 3/29. Not sure if it helps but her feathers have a green sheen to them in the sunlight.

    Where is the Marshfield swap meet and what time is it? I feel stupid for asking that but we aren't Marshfield natives...lol...we spend a lot of time in Springfield and St. Louis at doctors/specialist/hospital appointments for our youngest. We moved here in 2008 but moved away from 2011-2013...

    Here are our chickies. 2 are production red, 4 came from a pen labeled "Pan Fry" which I think means they're just random ones, and 6 are Bantams but I'm not exactly sure what type of Bantams. I really like the little gray one and wish I knew what kind it was.

    Depending on the insurance, you might check into Private Duty Nursing. This is still usually through an agency but they come out and spend several hours/day in the home helping with meds, cleaning, cooking, etc. Or an aide. PDN is different from Home Health. Home Health is usually a nurse...
