Yea other thanight the eye she is acting normal. I just ordered the oitment and it should be here by friday. She scratches her eye but other than that acts normal, eating normal ect. -

My 1 year goose has a problem with her eye. I don't know what it is, I have a picture. It looks like her eye has an underlid which is sticking out possibly? Today I saw some tears coming from the, perhaps discharge? -

Well its been weeks and the problem still persists:/ maybe its moulting...but its mainly her face. And she is scratching to the point of bleeding sometimes. I treated her with ivermacitin but nothing yet. Now she is broody and sits on her nest all day. But she is still scratching. I really have... -

Not yet, i was hoping it would be something i can help by buying in the pet store. Like Durvet Ivermectin if it was mites or something related. She is eating and energetic as nornmal, just the extensive scratching. I gave her a clean tub to clean herself. She free ranges on a lake we have here. -

General (male Pekin) mating too much -- when will it stop??
I'm having the same issue with my drake. I live in a small area and keeping them separated is hard. I ended giving my male away to someone who had more female ducks. Hope that helps -

Just wanted to update. Goosy is a she! We found a large goose egg where she would nest. I always thought she was a boy because she has become a bit agressive and mounts my female pekin duck lol but its established haha -

I heard some ppl rehome their female and get another drake so they don't have the problem anymore. I might do that too, I don't want Juliet to keep being abused like this -.-
