Well that makes things easier. I have checked around and you do have very reasonable prices. I just got my incubator so I want to test it out before hatching eggs that I paid for.
I am interested in hatching some american games, preferably, red pyles. I have found two breeders so far(fowlafoot and prairiefowl) and I thought I would try to get input.
Has anyone bought from either of them, and do the birds look good, hatch good, etc.?
Also if you know another breeder you...
Hi, got some buff orpingtons and easter eggers from mcmurray and am raising them in the house. (I don't know how I got my parents to say yes!) Anyway, it's about 65- 70 degrees at night since it's the summer and I was wondering if they would be okay If I turned off the heat lamp at night? They...
Okay, I free range my chickens during the day. What I'm wondering is, what breed or breeds are best for free ranging? By best, I mean which breeds can eat the most percentage of their diet while free ranging, and thrive on it? Also, which breeds can do the above and lay fairly well? I like to be...
Well, now she jumped off the egg nests and landed funny now she can't walk. I put her up there so predators can't get her. What can I give her to get her better? Please help!

2) Sorry, I don't know much about Delawares, but even though a...
I am so upset. I had 6 eggs under a hen that went broody and today was day 21 so they were supposed to hatch. Well, I woke up this morning and ran out to the coop. The hen was eating like she usually does in the morning but I looked at the nest and the eggs were gone! Then I found a hole that...
I want to start hatching some eggs, but I don't have an incubator. I've read about how to do it, now I just need the facilitys! So what incubator should I get to hatch around 20 eggs?
Thanks!
I was wondering how well cubalayas and malays do in cold weather. I live in Idaho and it gets zero degrees easy every winter. Basically I just want to know if it would be really miserable for them if they would make it.
