I am a woman who loves to learn and I'm always up for a challenge. I am entering a new phase of my life, a semi-empty nester (I have a handicapped daughter in a wheelchair that will live with us forever. Come June she will be our only kid left at home.) and have always loved chickens. We lived on a 60 acre farm with my in-laws years ago in Colorado and had hundreds of chickens that we raised from little chicks. I learned to butcher and pluck and cook what we raised. I am now living in the city, with a large piece of land for a subdivision and I am excited to get back to having chickens. I have been married to the world's best husband for 30+ years and I have been mostly a stay-at-home mom.
