Three Double-laced Barnevelder Hens seek a year-old Barnevelder rooster for love match. The girls like long walks in
the garden, dust baths in the sun and free-ranging the yard for tasty tidbits. Willing to share with the EE and RIR also in residence. Can be pet or show quality, preferably...
Such clever names for such adorable chooks! My late SLW (my avatar) was Guinevere; EE is Sheena; RIR is Rhodie; Barnevelders are Henrietta and Eggnes; and the soon to arrive chicks: SLW - Greta or Gwen, depending on her personality; Barnevelder roo - Henri.
Sorry I haven't responded earlier, have been looking at puppies. Would be honored to take one of your faverolle roos, but am really interested in raising some Barnevelder chicks and getting darker eggs. The blue roo sounds awesome. Wish I could help you out. Good luck and Happy Spring.

Am getting a Barnevelder roo chick this May to eventually breed with my Barnevelder hens. My hens lay medium to dark brown eggs, although they are not as dark as the Marans or Welsummers eggs that I've seen pictured. Hope to improve that through breeding. Will see.
The girls seemed to handle...
My Easter Egger is a now a year old, but here is what she looked like at various ages. She most resembled your Lilly as a chick. Shelays blue-green eggs. Have fun watching your girls grow up.

Thanks to all who replied to my request for a Barnevelder roo. I decided, after finding someone in Boise to share a chick order with me, to go that route. The girls will just have to wait. Thanks again and Happy (almost) Spring!
