    awe What a great idea! I have a HUGE dog crate from when my silver lab was a puppy. It’s one of those fold up kinds, so I saved it! I really like this idea. A lot!! I will give it a go and let you know how it turns out!

    I bed them separately, but free range them together. They have 10 acres to “socially distance” if they don’t like each other. LOL.

    It’s kind of odd, no? My big girls will pick on all of the babies, but not go after the little brown leghorns as they do the white leghorns. And they’re both very sweet birds, that will protect the little ones. It’s not as if their appearing as weak to the big girls.

    Hello happy hen lover! I have 10- 3.5 month old brown leghorn hens, 2- 2.5 month old white leghorn hens, 6- 2 month old brown leghorn hens and 1-2 month old brown leghorn rooster. I just started getting eggs last week from my big girls!
