After checking on him more and closer examination, We noticed that he never has his eyes open. And we think he might be blind...

Anyone know why my chicks lying on its side in the incubator?? He hatched like 10 hours ago and I never noticed this until now. Also one chicks umbilical cord is stuck to the his shell, Should I pull it off?

Cleaning out the cage... I'd say atleast once every 10 days. 3 or 5 times a month. Its really not the had to clean out the cage, Most cages have a tray that you pull out, and dump all the poop out into just a trashcan.

To answer your questions:
1) They will make a little noise, but its not something that will drive you insane. Especially, if you have Button Quails!
2) I do not know how they would do with Quail. If you do try it, make sure to be watching and separate them if they do...

I went down to Safeway and King soopers near me and they both told me they were "struggling" to distilled water??? What does that even mean???

I 100% agree with ButtonGuy.
He said it out perfectly. The only thing I would change would be, If you get Coturnix Quail to help with the lonely button quail. DO NOT get Texas A&M coturnix. I had a bad experience with those quail. They were meaner than a snake to my buttons and to my doves...
