    Anyone else dealing with fly strike this summer?

    We just lost our first chicken ever and it was to fly strike. Crazy to think we've protected them from possums, raccoons, skunks, and hawks and a stupid fly gets one. We tried to clean her off and bathe her and get as many of the maggots as possible but it was too late. There was infection...
