Thanks, Jeremy! I'm starting to think I'll end up ordering the 10 myself and trying to sell any "extras". I lived in Oakland for years and miss living there! (Although I'm there for fun all the time anyway, it's not far) I'm a tad jealous of your little farm there!- imh

Hi! I'm thinking of ordering some ducklings from Holderread Waterfowl, the minimum order is 10 ducklings and I only need about 3 (I *want* 10, but that would be duckie craziness), would anyone be interested in sharing an order? Hello- I'm having trouble finding out what the ordinances are for my area - a lot of my neighbors have chickens, but I haven't heard any roosters. One of my babies is turning out to be a cockerel, and I'm afraid I may have to give him away, so I'm trying to find as much information as I can...- imh

Keeping Water Clean
Hello- I am wondering if anyone has advice on how to keep the water cleaner - I change it daily but I'm worried that if I go away overnight it will be super-dirty, since they hens are always kicking shavings, etc into it. I have it elevated on a stack of 2 bricks, but even so, they will get...- imh
